Smith Studio and Gallery is an art studio and gallery in downtown Geneseo, Illinois, owned by David and Dale Smith. The studio gives resident artist David Smith time to create his own work while offering private art classes for children, teens, and adults. Guests can plan a class or children’s art birthday party around their group’s schedule and interests, with a variety of art mediums and venues available. The gallery primarily features sculptures and artwork by David Smith.

Smith Studio also partners with the Geneseo Quilt Guild to host the Geneseo Quilt Gallery in its upper mezzanine. This free exhibition presents locally and regionally made quilts on a seasonal basis, with displays changing every few months. Visitors can find information about current exhibits through the Guild’s website.

The studio aims to keep regular hours Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., though availability can vary. Visitors are encouraged to call ahead to confirm the gallery is open before traveling.
