SMM Mafia is a freelance and microtask marketplace connecting clients who need online promotion and digital services with registered task performers who can earn money by completing assignments. The platform organizes work into categories, making it possible to browse available tasks by service and social network. Clients can request likes, followers, views, comments, reposts, votes, reviews, website traffic, music plays, and app installations across platforms including VKontakte, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Rutube, and others.

Review tasks cover services and marketplaces such as Avito, Yandex Maps, Profi. ru, and app stores. Beyond social media promotion, SMM Mafia lists options for design, copywriting, articles, website and application development, forms, and individual custom assignments, although availability varies by category.

Some tasks specify result confirmation, and selected platform sections mention communication through a chat. Performers can explore listings and choose assignments suited to their interests, while businesses and individuals can use the marketplace to arrange promotional activity and digital work through task-based orders
