Smol Emuni US is a group of observant Jewish community members, committed to the foundational religious principle that all people are created in the image of God. We consider the pursuit of justice, equality, and dignity for Jews, Palestinians and all people a fundamental religious imperative and that extreme nationalism and socio-economic disparities breed racism and cruelty in the US and Israel.

Smol Emuni US is a community and growing U.S. network of Orthodox and observant Jews working to advance justice, equality, and dignity for Jews, Palestinians, and all people. Its name means “Faithful Left” in Hebrew, reflecting its commitment to building a courageous Orthodox Jewish voice for peace and ending the occupation. Grounded in Torah and the principle that every person is created in the image of God, the organization responds to feelings of isolation and silencing within Orthodox conversations about Israel and Palestine.
Smol Emuni US builds communities, supports rabbinic and educational leadership, and shares Torah-based ideas to help shift public narratives toward peace and justice. Its programs include an Israel/Palestine trip, a gap-year fellowship, cohorts for rabbis and educators, national chapters, online series, and a four-part film series. The organization also hosts conferences and public events, and publishes ideas and press updates. It collaborates with HaSmol HaEmuni in Israel, a movement promoting equality and justice within the Jewish rabbinic tradition, alongside initiatives focused on religious education, publishing, young-adult learning, and activism.
