NoseID is a pet identification service developed by S’more, a company working to make life with pets safer and more convenient. Its app uses AI-powered nose-print recognition to help identify individual dogs, much like fingerprints distinguish people. Owners can register a dog’s nose image and, if the dog goes missing, NoseID users who find the animal can use the app to help connect it with its owner. Nose recognition is currently available as a test version, and the company says the technology is still being developed.

The app also lets owners store photos of vaccination and rabies-prevention certificates, and manage useful care information such as allergies, medical history, medication, food, and temperament. Owners can share selected dog information with family, friends, or temporary caregivers, helping them provide appropriate care and prepare for emergencies. The service is designed to support lost-dog recovery while making everyday activities, including travel and visits to dog facilities, easier.
