SMSNA

The Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA) is considered the premier society in North America dedicated to progress and education in sexual medicine. Their objective is to promote, encourage, and support the highest standards of practice, research, education, and ethics in the study of human sexual function and dysfunction. SMSNA brings together healthcare professionals from various disciplines, including physicians, clinician/research scientists, advance practice providers, allied health professionals, social workers, and other research professionals focused on sexual health.

SMSNA's goal is to identify existing and emerging issues in the field of human sexual function and dysfunction, provide a forum for the exchange of new ideas and concepts, develop standards and guidelines for sexual medicine research and practice, and bring leading-edge research, clinical practice, ethics, and politics to healthcare professionals interested in sexual medicine and sexual health. Through their various programs, meetings, webinars, and grants, SMSNA strives to improve the understanding and treatment of sexual dysfunction, ultimately promoting a multidisciplinary approach to sexual well-being.
