South Mediterranean University (SMU) Incubator, established in September 2019, is an initiative designed to foster entrepreneurship within its vibrant community. It supports aspiring innovators from various backgrounds, enabling them to transform their business ideas into reality. The incubator offers a comprehensive five-month program that includes workshops, mentoring, coaching, and access to specialized courses in MSB and MedTech. Entrepreneurs have opportunities to pitch their concepts to a panel of experts, gaining valuable feedback and potential funding.

With a focus on collaboration, SMU Incubator provides a co-working space for startups to network and leverage resources, further enhancing their growth prospects. To date, the program has successfully supported 11 startups through certification, operating in sectors such as education, health, and clean technology.
