Snake PitMMA

The Snake Pit is an MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym based at Elite Fitness Gym in Scunthorpe. Run by active MMA fighter and head coach Jake “The Snake” Bingham, it offers coached training in mixed martial arts, BJJ, Muay Thai, boxing, wrestling and no-gi grappling. Classes combine practical instruction with an approachable atmosphere, and beginners are welcomed, taught the basics and paired thoughtfully. No previous experience, special fitness level or commitment to compete is required.

The weekly evening schedule includes no-gi BJJ, Muay Thai or kickboxing, wrestling and MMA. Members can train to develop skills, fitness and confidence, or pursue competition. The first class is free, and there are no long-term contracts. Options include £10 pay-as-you-go sessions, £45 monthly unlimited membership and £35 private one-to-one coaching with Jake, with block-booking discounts available for private sessions.
