Snaks

Snaks is a Norwegian service that helps people pass along things they no longer use in exchange for a small treat or everyday item they would like. The idea is to turn forgotten belongings into something pleasant, while giving useful items a new home. Users post an item they are ready to part with, such as a sweater, and choose a modest wish, such as chocolate, fresh pastries, or flowers. The person who comes to collect the item arranges the requested treat and brings it to the giver’s door; in return, they take the listed item home.

Snaks presents the process as a simple, neighbourly way to exchange goods rather than let them go unused. The service invites people to browse listings in their city and is available for both iPhone and Android. Its website also includes information about Snaks, contact details, privacy, terms of use, and community guidelines. Snaks AS is the company named on the site, which also asks users where the service should open next.
