Snapchat Planets is an independent guide to Snapchat’s Friend Solar System, a visual feature exclusive to Snapchat+ subscribers. The site explains how the eight planets represent a user’s friendship ranking in another person’s Snapchat circle: Mercury indicates the closest ranking, while Neptune represents the eighth position. Its guides describe how interactions such as snaps, chats, story replies, and calls can influence rankings, and how to view a planet by tapping the friendship badge on a profile.

The website also covers planet meanings, colors, Bitmoji displays, privacy, Snapchat+ settings, troubleshooting, and differences between Best Friends badges and the extended friends list. Visitors can explore frequently asked questions, updates, and explanations of related Snapchat features, including green dot meanings, streaks, and Snap Score. The site offers interactive tools intended to estimate a planet ranking from a user-entered position or activity levels, alongside written articles and video explanations.

Snapchat Planets presents itself as an informational resource for understanding the feature, rather than as Snapchat itself or a provider of Snapchat subscriptions
