R. R Animal Rescue Northeast, also known as Special Needs Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation, is a compassionate organization based in Westchester County, New York. Founded in 2011 by Courtney Bellew, SNARR Northeast is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need.

This 501(c)3 rescue specializes in saving the toughest dogs to place, including those with serious medical conditions, paralysis, deafness, blindness, severe emaciation, neurological deficits, injuries, and orthopedic issues. They prioritize the animals that nobody else wants, those that would otherwise be euthanized. At SNARR Northeast, every dog is treated as someone's pet.

They provide a loving and nurturing environment for the animals they rescue, working diligently to socialize, train, and rehabilitate them. Additionally, the rescue offers extensive and costly medical care to ensure that each dog receives the attention and treatment they require. While their name suggests a focus on special needs animals, SNARR Northeast also extends their care to perfectly healthy dogs.

They believe that every animal deserves a safe and responsible home, regardless of their condition. SNARR Northeast pulls dogs from high-kill shelters across the country, with a particular focus on the local NYC, NJ, and surrounding area shelters. By rescuing these animals and finding them loving homes, SNARR Northeast aims to make a positive change in the animal rescue community.

To support their mission, SNARR Northeast relies on the generosity of donations. Your contribution can help give hope to the hopeless and provide a second chance for these deserving animals. Join their network of animal lovers and make a difference today!
