Southern Nevada Center for Independent Living

Southern Nevada Centers for Independent Living (SNCIL) is a community organization serving people of all ages with permanent disabilities throughout Clark County, Nevada. Its mission is to remove barriers to independent living and help people make their own choices, direct their lives, manage their affairs, and participate in their communities with dignity and confidence. SNCIL provides its services free of charge, supported by grants from the Administration for Community Living.

The organization offers independent living skills training to build self-reliance and confidence, along with individual and community or systems advocacy to support disability rights. Its benefits counseling helps people understand available options and make informed decisions about resources. Other services include employment assistance, housing support, information and referrals, transition and diversion services, transportation assistance, and help accessing adaptive equipment. SNCIL also provides guidance related to the Americans with Disabilities Act and connects people with disability resources, including information on emergency preparedness.
