About Society of Junior Doctors
The Society of Junior Doctors (SJD) is a dynamic and determined medical society that aims to create an incomparable scientific community for the next generations of medical students in Greece. Founded in 2009, SJD was established by a group of twenty junior doctors who shared a vision for change. They believed in addressing the "gap" in the medical education system, advocating for fairness, meritocracy, responsibility, and a modern perspective on science.
SJD has since grown into an extraordinary organization, producing high-level scientific work that is published exclusively in renowned medical journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, Stroke, and JAMA Neurology. Their members have received invitations for oral presentations at international scientific conferences and have formed collaborations with prestigious scientific organizations worldwide.
