SNII/SNI is a website dedicated to making Mexico’s official register of members of the National System of Researchers (Sistema Nacional de Investigadoras e Investigadores, SNII) accessible to the public. Visitors can search researcher records by name, institution, field of knowledge, level, or state, and explore information covering more than 49,000 researchers, 351 institutions, 7,759 specialties, and all 32 federal entities. The directory organizes research across nine broad areas: physical and mathematical sciences; biology and chemistry; medicine and health sciences; behavioral sciences; humanities; social sciences; agricultural sciences; engineering; and interdisciplinary research.

Each area includes examples of related specialties, such as physics, biotechnology, clinical sciences, history, public policy, agronomy, computing, and sustainability. The site also provides sections about the SNII, participating institutions, researchers emeritus, and calls for applications, along with a contact option. Its central service is a searchable public directory that helps users navigate Mexico’s research community and identify researchers and institutions by discipline and location
