Snikkerun

Stichting Snikkerun Haulerwijk organizes the Snikkerun, an annual running event held in Haulerwijk, traditionally on the first Saturday of July. The event welcomes participants of different ages and abilities, combining children’s activities with timed races for adults and older runners. The main events include 5-kilometre and 10-kilometre races for men and women, with separate categories for runners up to age 16 and those aged 50 and over.

The evening begins with an parent-and-child survival run for children aged 3 to 8, offered in two groups. Children aged 9 to 12 can then take part in a 2.5-kilometre kids’ run with time recording. The event also offers practical amenities, including showers, massage and a bag-sitting service, and features prizes for participants.

Snikkerun shares event details, registration information, results, media and news through its website and social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram. Its organizers invite runners and families to follow these channels for updates and information about the next event.
