SNIP Central is a Redmond, Oregon, veterinary wellness provider offering affordable preventative care for pets across Central Oregon. Founded in response to the need for accessible veterinary services, the organization aims to help reduce pet overpopulation and prevent disease transmission. Its services are available to dogs and cats in communities including Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Tumalo, Terrebonne, Crooked River Ranch, Madras, and Prineville, with out-of-area appointments accepted when space allows.
SNIP Central runs low-cost spay and neuter clinics for cats. Surgical packages include an examination, the procedure, pain medication, and a small tattoo indicating sterilization; pets over five years old need pre-operative blood work from a full-service clinic. Weekly vaccine and preventative care clinics offer dog vaccines for illnesses including distemper, parvovirus, and rabies, and cat vaccines for herpesvirus, calicivirus, and panleukopenia. Additional services include feline FeLV/FIV and canine heartworm testing, deworming, and microchips with lifetime registration.
Services require online registration and an approved appointment. The facility is open by appointment only and does not accept walk-ins.
