About Snowflake Canada
Snowflake, based in Vancouver BC, is a brand that specializes in Canadian-made outerwear and accessories. The brand was founded in 1979 by Rokie Bernstein, with the aim of promoting new Canadian design talent and offering locally-made products to people from all over the world. The first Snowflake store opened in the Sundance Mall in October 1979 and featured a unique showcase of hand-rolled stained glass and arched display cases.
Over the years, Snowflake expanded with stores in various locations, including the Banff Springs Hotel and Whistler. The brand's collections include a wide range of products made from natural fibers such as cashmere, shearling, wool, leather, and fur. Snowflake also developed select private labels, including Miriam Joy for cashmere and cashmere blend sweaters and accessories, Gram's Girls for cotton picture sweaters, and Il Fait Froid for woven fur accessories.
Snowflake continues to evolve and offer high-quality, Canadian-made fashion to its customers
