SnowJam is a preseason ski and snowboard sale and expo held annually in San Diego and Las Vegas, bringing riders, retailers, resorts, and exhibitors together before winter begins. Its events let guests browse a wide selection of new and previous-season skis, snowboards, boots, outerwear, apparel, and accessories at prices intended to match online deals. Unlike shopping online, visitors can try equipment in person, get professional boot fitting and advice from experienced riders, and take their purchases home the same day.

SnowJam also offers memberships that provide access to eligible free and discounted lift ticket vouchers from participating resorts, with deals varying by city and subject to resort terms and restrictions. Members may also find savings on lift tickets, lessons, rentals, lodging, and select activities through participating partners. General admission includes expo entry and shopping but does not include lift ticket vouchers. The events are designed for individuals and families, with free entry for children 13 and under when accompanied by a paid adult.
