About Snow Leopard Network
The Snow Leopard Network (SLN) is a global organization dedicated to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange for the conservation of snow leopards. With over 600 members, 33 organizations, and 9 partners, our network includes leading experts from various sectors. Our mission is to promote scientifically-based conservation efforts through networking, research, and partnerships.
We aim to strengthen capacities in research and conservation, mobilize support for sustainable practices, and incentivize local conservation through our grants program. The SLN was established in 2003 to address critical issues impacting snow leopards and their habitats. Our objectives include promoting country action plans, scientific management, and capacity building in range states.
Governed by a Steering Committee, the SLN works towards establishing itself as a key coordinator for snow leopard conservation worldwide. Join us in our commitment to preserving these magnificent creatures and their ecosystems
