About SNU WEAR Lab
The Wearable Ergonomics and Anthropometrics Research (WEAR) Lab at Seoul National University (SNU) is dedicated to advancing the field of human-centered design and improving people's quality of life. With a focus on Human Factors and Ergonomics (HF/E), the lab strives to develop innovative wearables that are safe, efficient, and comfortable for users. As an affiliated member of the Soft Robot Research Center (SRRC), funded by the Korean Ministry of Science and ICT, WEAR Lab collaborates with top research labs in diverse scientific and engineering disciplines.
This multidisciplinary approach allows for groundbreaking research and the development of wearable product solutions. In the anthropometric stream, WEAR Lab's research is centered around understanding the physical measures, form, and functional capacities of the human body. By leveraging this knowledge, the lab aims to design wearables that provide a perfect fit and necessary comfort, making them truly wearable.
