SO-ACT

SO-ACT is a Cincinnati-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit with more than 35 years of experience supporting older adults. Its mission is to enhance quality of life by honoring elders’ experiences, encouraging connection, and helping seniors feel valued and supported as they age. The organization promotes aging as an enriching and empowering journey, with community engagement and practical assistance at its core.

SO-ACT offers support in areas including home health services, meal programs, financial literacy, health and wellness classes, housing, and emergency assistance. It also organizes social and community activities, giving older adults opportunities to connect, learn, and participate. Featured programs and events include sewing classes, an intergenerational chess club, community meetings, and activities such as Walk with Me, Voices of the Future, and Wisdom Behind the Walls.

Through a hands-on approach, SO-ACT works with families, neighbors, and local partners, particularly in communities where resources are limited. Older adults can become members to attend events and access available resources. SO-ACT serves communities in Hamilton and Butler counties in Ohio.
