Soaringmeteo is a pioneering platform dedicated to providing free meteorological forecasts and resources for soaring pilots, including paraglider, delta wing, and glider enthusiasts. With a user-friendly interface, Soaringmeteo offers access to advanced numerical weather prediction models such as soarGFS and soarWRF. The soarGFS model delivers one-week forecasts across multiple regions worldwide, updated twice daily with a spatial resolution of 25 km. Meanwhile, soarWRF specializes in high-resolution forecasts for the Alpine region, offering predictions up to two days ahead with resolutions between 2 to 6 km, updated multiple times daily.

The platform also features valuable educational resources, covering essential meteorological concepts for pilots that are often overlooked in training, such as convective layers. An open-source project, Soaringmeteo encourages community contribution and feedback to improve its services.
