The People's Catalog of Orthodox Architecture was established in May 2002 with the goal of collecting comprehensive historical descriptions and a photograpic chronicle of all Orthodox churches in Russia and around the world. With the help of 5932 contributors, information on 59769 Orthodox architectural sites has been gathered, including 72790 articles and 522694 photographs. This project aims to promote Russian culture, Orthodoxy, and provide assistance to travelers, local historians, and anyone interested in Russian history and culture.

You can contribute by adding your own photos and historical-architectural descriptions of Orthodox structures. Please respect copyright laws when submitting materials. Collaboration with church websites, monasteries, and historical societies is encouraged.
