Sobrio is an online community offering inspiration and practical support for people seeking a life free from addiction and intoxicating substances. Its mission is to make recovery more accessible, meaningful, and community-oriented by sharing knowledge, tools, and personal stories that encourage people to regain control and build a better life.

The community was founded by Jean and Mikael, who draw on their own experiences with substance misuse. Jean, formerly known for his party lifestyle, overcame alcohol and cocaine addiction, trained as a psychotherapist, and has since helped more than 500 clients address addiction. Mikael began drinking as a teenager and later used cannabis; his experience led him to recognise the complexity of addiction and the value of support from others facing similar challenges.

Sobrio provides curated links to help and treatment options, along with inspirational content for people pursuing sobriety. It also invites followers to share questions, stories, and topic suggestions, fostering open discussion about addiction, substance use, and alcohol culture.
