The Southern California Basketball Hall of Fame (SCBBHOF) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2019 to recognize the region’s basketball heritage and support youth basketball through charitable donations. Its reach spans Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, the Inland Empire, and Santa Barbara. The Hall of Fame honors outstanding local players, coaches, and contributors, including high school and college standouts, professional athletes, championship-winning coaches, officials, photographers, and people whose service has strengthened the sport.
Its inductees represent eight classes, covering achievements across generations and levels of basketball. The organization also presents lifetime service recognition for significant contributions to Southern California basketball. SCBBHOF brings its community together through induction events, including a banquet scheduled for August 22, 2027, at the Odyssey Restaurant in Mission Hills, where the 2026 and 2027 classes will be honored.
The organization shares inductee information and event updates through its website and provides an email contact for inquiries. Through recognition and charitable support, SCBBHOF celebrates basketball excellence while encouraging youth participation
