SoCal Grantmakers (SCG) is the leadership hub where more than 300 of our region's grantmakers come together to learn, connect, and take action. SCG is the regional association for philanthropists and grantmakers working to make a difference in our communities and around the world. We are a leadership hub for our members to connect with each other, improve their grantmaking and amplify their independent efforts through collaborative work. Our members include family foundations, private independent foundations, community and public foundations, corporate foundations and corporate giving programs, individuals, and government agencies.

About SoCal Grantmakers
SoCal Grantmakers is a community of philanthropists and grantmakers working to make a difference in Southern California and beyond. Our organization consists of family, private, public, independent, community and corporate foundations, as well as corporate giving programs, individuals, and government agencies. At SoCal Grantmakers, we believe that a strong and informed giving community is crucial to improving the quality of life for all residents of Southern California.
We understand the unique challenges faced by our local nonprofits and civic partners, and we strive to connect grantmakers across the region through conferences, trainings, networking opportunities, and funder convenings. By providing a space for collaboration and coordinated action, we aim to address critical issues and advance effective grantmaking. With a focus on eight Southern California counties, including Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura, we are dedicated to creating transformative change by collaborating with communities and sectors, working towards a more equitable and thriving society.
