SoCal Monuments is a family-owned business serving Southern California, creating custom granite grave markers with a personal, guided process. Customers can design a marker online, see how the lettering and artwork look on photographs of real granite, and approve an exact proof before engraving begins. The family behind the business is available by phone or text to help with designs, questions, and matching an existing family marker.
The company offers flat granite markers in six stone options, including Jet Black, Regal, Fine Gray, Blue Pearl, Mahogany, and Bahama Blue. Markers can include custom lettering, carvings, and optional porcelain portraits. The standard 28-by-16-by-3-inch polished marker costs $1,295, including design work, unlimited proofs, engraving, cemetery paperwork, and delivery; Blue Pearl and porcelain photos carry additional charges. Cemetery setting fees and applicable sales tax are separate.
SoCal Monuments verifies cemetery requirements, handles approval paperwork, coordinates delivery and placement, and inspects each locally engraved marker against the approved proof. The typical process takes five to seven weeks, from design through placement.
