About Society of Antiquaries of Scotland
The Society of Antiquaries of Scotland is a 240-year-old brand dedicated to the study and enjoyment of Scotland's past. Founded in 1780, the Society's purpose is to investigate antiquities, natural history, and civil history with the goal of cultivating human talents and promoting the study of sciences. As an inclusive and pro-diversity heritage charity, the Society believes that Scotland's history should be shared by and for everyone.
