South Orange County Community College District (SOCCCD) is a leading educational institution in the south Orange County area. Established in 1967, SOCCCD is dedicated to providing high-quality and dynamic learning environments that inspire student success. With a mission to promote access, success, and equity, SOCCCD offers a wide range of programs and services for learners of all ages and backgrounds.

The district comprises Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, Irvine Valley College in Irvine, and the Advanced Technology & Education Park (ATEP) in Tustin. Covering a land area of 382 square miles, SOCCCD serves almost one million residents in 26 communities. The district is governed by a Board of Trustees who represent seven trustee areas.

SOCCCD's District Services department plays a crucial role in supporting the colleges by providing centralized administrative services. This includes accounting, benefits management, central services, the Chancellor's Office, facilities planning, fiscal services, human resources, information technology, payroll, procurement, public affairs, research and planning, and risk management.
