Social City is a social skills program that has supported children’s language and social-emotional development since 2013. Its approach recognizes that language is foundational to how people connect, and draws on speech-language therapy to help children develop pragmatic language skills. Programs offer leveled group and individual options, designed to meet students where they are and support their growth.

Social City’s weekly afternoon group classes help children form friendships, strengthen conversational skills, read social cues, manage emotions and build self-confidence. When school is out, school break camps and half- or full-day summer day camps give children opportunities to spend time with peers while practicing social skills. The summer program is led by speech-language therapists and related professionals who specialize in pragmatic language and social-emotional development.

For schools, Social City provides partnerships, workshops and trainings focused on promoting social-emotional development during the school day. It also offers free informational workshops for families, along with individualized one-to-one support inside or outside school for children who need additional help.
