About Social Innovation in Health Initiative
The Social Innovation in Health Initiative (SIHI) is a global network dedicated to advancing social innovation in healthcare through research, capacity-strengthening, and advocacy. Launched in 2014, SIHI brings together passionate individuals, organizations, and institutions from around the world.
SIHI focuses on identifying and showcasing community-based solutions that improve healthcare. With eight crowdsourcing innovation calls already conducted, they have identified 288 eligible projects. They provide resources such as case studies, films, publications, and guides on social innovation in health, allowing you to learn from the experiences of pioneers in the field.
SIHI works with implementing partners who actively conduct country research and build capacity for social innovation. They are also supported by the World Health Organization and other international institutions.
