About Socialist Project
The Socialist Project (SP) is a Toronto-based organization dedicated to rebuilding the socialist Left in Canada and globally. Committed to creating a more free, democratic, humane, and sustainable society, SP opposes capitalism and supports various struggles in solidarity. Embracing working class emancipation, anti-oppression, democratic self-determination, planetary sustainability, and peace, SP engages in the ongoing process of organizational redevelopment and experimentation.
Understanding that neither capitalism nor neoliberalism will fade on their own, SP focuses on creating a different future by supporting emerging struggles within and against the current capitalist system. Through events, pamphlets, podcasts like LeftStreamed, and active participation, SP aims to contribute to the development of 21st-century socialism. Join us in shaping a better tomorrow
