Socializarte Grupos

Socializarte Grupos is an Argentina-based interdisciplinary program specializing in social skills, communication, and social thinking for children, adolescents, and young adults who face challenges in social interaction. Developed by speech-language professionals and shaped by experience across disciplines, clinical practice, and training, the model aims to help participants build skills for everyday relationships while respecting each person’s profile and goals.

Its services include group and individual training in social skills and communication, social outings for advanced groups, professional supervision, and assessments of communication, language, and social skills. Group placements are planned after an intake interview and review of relevant information, with attention to age, language and learning levels, cognitive profile, and social motivation. Groups typically have three to five participants and two therapists, and meet weekly during the March-to-December program.

Training may address conversation, nonverbal communication, play, emotional awareness and regulation, conflict resolution, friendship, social rules, and social cognition. The team draws on approaches including social skills training, cognitive behavioral techniques, communication strategies, DIR/Floortime, Hanen, and TEACCH.
