Social Sundhed is a nationwide NGO dedicated to promoting greater social equity in healthcare. They work tirelessly with a team of dedicated volunteers to address the significant disparities in health and well-being faced by socially vulnerable individuals. In fact, on average, socially vulnerable populations experience poorer health and well-being and die approximately 17 years earlier than the general population.

Social Sundhed's mission is to actively combat these disparities and make tangible improvements. Excitingly, Social Sundhed has recently formed a partnership with Din Sundhedsfaglige A-kasse, the only unemployment fund in the country specifically targeted at health professionals. This partnership aims to provide health professional students with a stronger foundation as they enter the workforce and actively contribute to reducing health inequalities.

They will jointly recruit volunteer bridge builders and emphasize the valuable skills and experiences gained through the bridge builder program. Through this collaboration, both organizations strive to create a more equitable healthcare system for all.
