About Social Support and Education
The Society for Social Support & Education (SSSE) is a non-governmental organization based in Lebanon, focusing on providing quality education to Syrian refugee children. Established in August 2019, SSSE evolved from the Social Support Society (SSS) to concentrate on educational initiatives in collaboration with the Lebanese Ministry of Education. The organization operates educational centers and emergency relief efforts for refugee families, serving over 15,000 students and 10,000 families since 2012.
SSSE's mission prioritizes improving the lives of Syrian refugee children through access to education in a safe environment. Their programs aim to nurture self-esteem, creativity, teamwork, conflict resolution skills, and acceptance of diverse perspectives.
