Socialvagten

Socialvagten ApS provides experienced temporary staff for the specialised social and disability care sector. Based in Vanløse, the company serves municipal and private residential facilities, round-the-clock institutions, dementia centres and other care settings across the Copenhagen area and North and South Zealand. Its pool of more than 100 relief workers has experience supporting people with complex diagnoses and disabilities, including autism, ADHD, dementia, mental health conditions and other functional impairments.

Socialvagten supplies staff for both short-term and longer-term needs, including specialised one-to-one assignments for people with significant psychological or cognitive challenges. Its approach is guided by each person’s established routines and the instructions of permanent staff. Support may include guidance, reassurance, motivation and setting boundaries, with attention to the individual’s needs, life and autonomy.

The company also shares professional learning resources, including short educational films developed in collaboration with neuropsychologist Bo Hejlskov Elvén. These explore practical approaches such as adapting demands, managing conflict and understanding communication.
