Social Value International (SVI) is a global network and registered charity dedicated to improving how society understands and accounts for value. For more than 15 years, it has worked with members, partners and locally led networks to embed the Principles of Social Value in impact measurement and management, influence policy and support change that benefits people and the planet. Its work focuses on understanding the relative importance people place on changes to their wellbeing and using that insight to make better decisions.
SVI connects practitioners, organisations and changemakers through individual and organisational membership, alongside 26 national and regional networks. Members can collaborate with fellow professionals, build their expertise and contribute to a global movement for change. The organisation also offers training, development and accreditation, including an internationally recognised, multi-level Professional Pathway in social value and impact management. Its standards and guidance help practitioners apply the Principles of Social Value and produce assured social value reports to an international standard.
