Sockipedia is a Swedish nonprofit association and online resource dedicated to collecting, documenting, and sharing local history organized by parish (socken). Its community-contributed encyclopedia brings together articles, images, and other media about places and historical subjects across Sweden. The site reports more than 5,000 articles covering 67 parishes, with contributions and activity varying between locations.

Visitors can browse parish pages, search the collection, view recently uploaded images, and follow updated pages and local developments. Sockipedia also provides practical guidance on searching, writing, and editing, alongside support for contributors who want to add material. All Swedish parishes are welcome, and users can contact the support team to request that a missing parish be added.

The association relies on members and donations to continue its work, and people who value its mission can support it by joining for an annual fee of 100 Swedish kronor. Sockipedia offers a collaborative platform for preserving and making local historical information accessible
