About SoDa
SoDa is a solar radiation and meteorological data service developed through research and innovation associated with the O.I.E. research center of Mines ParisTech/Armines, with the site identifying Mines ParisTech and Vaisala in its copyright notice. It helps businesses and researchers assess solar resources, monitor energy production, and support forecasting and planning for photovoltaic and solar thermal projects. Its services also address spectral radiation needs in agriculture and health.
A key offering is the HelioClim-3 database, which provides direct, diffuse, reflected, and global solar radiation data at different time intervals, from one minute to one month. The service includes historical archives, typical meteorological years, real-time data, solar forecasts, and radiation estimates for horizontal, tilted, and normal planes. Additional offerings include calibrated radiation data using short-term in-situ measurements, historical meteorological time series, weather forecasts, and ultraviolet and photosynthetically active radiation data.
Users can access information through web portals or automated APIs. SoDa also offers training and consultancy, drawing on its research expertise to support usersโ solar-related activities and questions.
