So Fit Academy is a martial arts and fitness school in Montrose, California, built around the belief that training can strengthen both body and mind and help people overcome life’s challenges. The academy offers classes for children, youth, and adults, with programs spanning karate, mixed martial arts (MMA), boxing, grappling, kickboxing, and Muay Thai. Students can choose beginner and advanced karate and MMA sessions, kids’ grappling, youth boxing, adult boxing and grappling, adult MMA, and adult kickboxing and Muay Thai.

The schedule also includes karate and combined boxing, kickboxing, and MMA sparring, alongside strength and conditioning and gymnastics classes. The academy’s founder, Sevak Ohanjanian, began martial arts training at age 13, studied Tae Kwon Do and Shotokan Karate, and competed in semi-professional Muay Thai by age 17. He later led a children’s karate program at Glendale Fighting Club, taking groups of young students to competitions.
