USA Softball

USA Softball, formerly known as the Amateur Softball Association (ASA), has served as the National Governing Body for softball in the United States since its inception in 1933. With a mission to promote fair competition and ensure equal opportunities for all players, USA Softball has grown to encompass over 120,000 teams and a membership surpassing one million. The organization is dedicated to expanding the sport through its various programs, including Adult, Junior Olympic, and High-Performance initiatives, catering to participants from recreational to competitive levels.

In addition to organizing local, state, and national tournaments, USA Softball provides educational resources and training for players, coaches, and umpires, ensuring adherence to the official rules of the game. It also emphasizes the values of diversity, integrity, safety, and sportsmanship, striving to impact the softball community positively. The National Softball Hall of Fame Museum further enriches its legacy, celebrating the sport’s history while promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all.
