AVB Performance is an elite fastpitch softball training and player-development brand founded by Ashley VanBoxmeer, a former Division I standout, Canadian National Team athlete, and National Championship coach. The program serves athletes from youth beginners to competitive travel players, nationally ranked athletes, and college-bound players, with instruction tailored to each athlete’s goals and experience. Its approach combines purposeful practice, quality repetition, game understanding, accountability, and confidence-building to help players apply their skills in competition.

Training develops hitting, fielding and throwing, pitching, and catching, alongside softball IQ, decision-making, independence, and the ability to evaluate performance and make adjustments. AVB Performance emphasizes preparation, effort, coachability, continuous improvement, and personal ownership, aiming to develop both stronger competitors and confident young women. Individual lessons are available in 30- and 60-minute sessions, with scheduling offered by appointment.

Drawing on Ashley’s collegiate, international, and championship coaching experience, the program focuses on individualized attention and practical game application rather than a one-size-fits-all system
