Softball Association of Sylvan Lake SASL

Softball Association of Sylvan Lake (SASL) is an independent, community-focused softball organization serving Sylvan Lake and surrounding areas in Alberta. Founded by local softball parents, the association is dedicated to growing the game through safe, inclusive, and development-focused programming. Its mission is to offer recreational and competitive opportunities where athletes of different skill levels can learn, improve, and enjoy the sport.

SASL organizes youth programs across age divisions, from beginner Seedlings through U17, including developmental and provincial teams. The association provides registration information, schedules, team rosters, evaluations, and seasonal fee details, as well as fall ball opportunities. Its broader services support the softball community with coach resources, youth mentorship, umpire information, financial assistance guidance, and player and parent policies. SASL also shares information about local diamonds, batting cage rentals, apparel, and community events, including the Lake Life Summer Classic tournament. Through volunteer involvement, sponsorship partnerships, and a commitment to transparency and responsible finances, the association aims to build lasting connections, confidence, teamwork, and a strong softball community.
