SOGo Project is a brand that offers a comprehensive groupware solution for businesses and organizations. With a focus on open standards, SOGo provides multiple ways to access calendaring and messaging data. Users can access their information through web browsers, Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Apple iCal, or mobile devices.

SOGo supports popular protocols such as CalDAV, CardDAV, IMAP, SMTP, and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, ensuring extensive interoperability and scripting capabilities. SOGo offers various extensions for Thunderbird, making it a fully featured DAV client for groupware servers. The SOGo Connector allows for portability, while the SOGo Integrator maximizes the features and layout of SOGo.

Additionally, SOGo enables Microsoft Outlook users to share emails, calendars, and contacts with other SOGo users through the Outlook CalDav Synchronizer plugin. One of the key advantages of SOGo is its cost-effectiveness. Unlike alternatives like Microsoft Exchange or Zimbra, SOGo and its components are entirely free and released under the GPL.

With native Microsoft Outlook compatibility, organizations can connect Outlook clients at no extra cost. SOGo's support for open standards, ease of deployment, modern/integrated solutions, and excellent performance make it a reliable and efficient groupware solution for organizations of all sizes. With features like a user-friendly web interface, drag-and-drop functionality, reminders, delegation, resource reservation, and S/MIME support, SOGo provides all the necessary features to meet the demands of organizations and their users
