Sogorn

The Associação de Ginecologia e Obstetrícia do Rio Grande do Norte (Sogorn) has proudly represented the interests of gynecologists and obstetricians in the region since its establishment in 1958. Committed to enhancing women's health, Sogorn collaborates with both national and international health organizations, including the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) and UNICEF, to improve care and reduce maternal-infant mortality rates.

Sogorn's mission includes the scientific development of healthcare professionals in gynecology and obstetrics, ensuring that they stay informed on best practices and advancements in the field. The association hosts various scientific events each year—highlighted by the Jornada de Ginecologia e Obstetrícia do Rio Grande do Norte—to educate both professionals and the general public on women's health issues.

With a dedicated board and an active community of members, Sogorn continues to be a pivotal force in promoting women's health in Rio Grande do Norte while fostering professional growth among its specialists.
