Led by Maxime Chauvet, the General Manager, SOG SOLAR recently undertook a mission in French Polynesia to present their Photovoltaic Preliminary Project Studies to EPIC Te Ito Rau and various institutions.

During this mission, in collaboration with Carole Couturier from BE Environnement CAPSE PF and architect Maui Cojan, the team identified the opportunities and constraints for a 4 MWc ground-mounted installation in Maharepa. This solar power plant is set to cover 15% of the island's electricity needs, equivalent to the annual consumption of 2,000 households, and is scheduled to begin construction in 2025.

SOG SOLAR's expertise extends beyond this project.
