Sokolnictví Šporer is a falconry business led by falconer Václav Šporer, offering public demonstrations, educational programs and photography experiences featuring birds of prey and owls. It presents a public collection described as the largest of its kind in Bohemia and introduces visitors to as many as 20 species, from small kestrels to large eagles. Its professional flight displays can be arranged for community and corporate events, while school, kindergarten and summer-camp programs focus on birds living in the Czech Republic.
The educational sessions are led by a falconer with university-level pedagogical training. Photography workshops offer opportunities to photograph raptors and owls in natural surroundings, both at rest and in flight. The experience combines close encounters with birds with information about their behavior, ecological role and falconry’s long history as a cultural tradition.
Sokolnictví Šporer also presents seasonal flight displays at Švihov Water Castle through its related Sokolníci Švihov project. Visitors and organizers can inquire about programs, event bookings and gift vouchers
