Sokratev is the art brand of Dimo Sokratev, a self-taught Bulgarian artist who lives and works in Austria and develops his practice across Europe. Drawn to art since childhood, Dimo began his artistic journey through tattooing in 1994, combining that experience with painting since 2008. His work brings together traditional and modern techniques, exploring emotion, memory and philosophy through human forms, light, the sea and urban scenes. Each painting begins with a real moment or feeling and becomes a personal story expressed through color and silence.

Sokratev offers original paintings for collectors and people seeking distinctive artwork for their homes, as well as curated painting bundles and custom commissions. The online shop features individual works across a range of subjects and prices, with selected pieces available to purchase directly from the artist. The brand also presents partnership projects and shares reflections and updates through its blog. Dimo has taken part in exhibitions and art events across Europe, including Vienna, and held his first solo exhibition at Gallery Graffit in Varna in 2024. His work is intended to offer more than decoration: a personal, expressive presence that invites continued attention.
