Solvej

Barn i Bevægelse is a small occupational therapy practice led by Solvej Nielsen Darre, a private-practice occupational therapist based on Falster in Denmark. Working as a freelance occupational therapist since 1989, Solvej supports the training and development of children’s skills, adapting each intervention to the individual’s needs, abilities and family circumstances. The practice also works with relevant professionals and other partners to support each child’s development.

Services include home-based training, sensory-motor treatment and occupational therapy assessments for children. The practice offers parent and educator guidance, teaching and courses, as well as Mitii (Move It To Improve It), an online exercise programme tailored to a child’s needs and current functional level. Halliwick swimming supports greater independence and freedom of movement in water and is suitable for beginners, including people with disabilities. Stimulastik combines stimulation and movement activities for infants aged zero to one year. The practice also works with children, young people and adults, drawing on experience in motor and sensory development, communication, play, learning and behaviour.
