Solace

Solace is a grief-support service led by Vivien Vohmann, offering women a compassionate, confidential space to experience and explore bereavement. Its approach is grounded in empathy, openness, and professional expertise, while making clear that grief support is not psychotherapy. Vivien meets clients as equals and helps them understand their feelings, find ways to cope, and take practical exercises and ideas into everyday life.

Solace offers individual one-to-one grief support, women’s grief groups, and trauma-sensitive yoga (TSY®). Sessions provide room to speak about loss and its emotional impact, connect with women who have had similar experiences, or simply listen. Participants choose what they share and how much they take part; there is no requirement to speak. Support is available regardless of how recently or long ago a loss occurred, recognizing that each person’s needs and timing are different. Based in Leipzig, Solace also welcomes questions and enquiries by phone or email, and offers the option of an initial phone conversation.
