Solagron’s Star Algae products marketed in Vietnam is a live microalgae, making them identical to their natural forms. We produce live, whole-cell, whole-food microalgae feeds and enrichments from marine and freshwater algae using proprietary processes integrating photovoltaic solar panels and grow led lights. Our products provide fish, bivalve and shrimp hatcheries with clean, convenient, long shelf-life and live feeds that are superior choices by far. Our live microalgae make the use of our revolutionary Green Water Technology in aqua ponds possible for the first time ever in Vietnam. The benefits of this technology have been shown for fish species, shrimp, mollusks and crustaceans. The method consists of adding live algae in the water during larvae or grow-out ponds. The beneficial effects of green water are mainly: a direct food source through active uptake, stimulation of the non-specific immune system in the larvae, action as a probiotic. Solagron will soon enter Human Nutraceutical and Cosmetics industry with Star Algae Freeze-Dried Granules and Powders. The aim of freeze-drying algae is to obtain a readily water-soluble algae which have the same characteristics as the original product after rehydration.
